An Educational Visit for Students offered by Taksh Shila

At Taksh Shila aims to build a learning intervention that is intertwined with practical, hands-on skill enhancement knowledge to ensure that students' learning is not focused solely on theoretic approaches.

The visit was conducted in association with a renowned milk brand- Amul, for the students’ classes 5 & 6. There were more than 100 students participated. The visit was led by the faculty members of the Taksh Shila SCHOOL. The visit to the plant was an enriching experience for the students who were able to understand the entire process of Pasteurisation, packaging and how a mega plant works to maintain its output every day. During the visit, the students got a chance to observe the entire production process, from raw milk collection to packaging and distribution. They were given a detailed tour of the plant and were shown the state-of-the-art machinery and equipment used for processing milk and other dairy products.

The students were also taken to the industrial plant where they were shown the different departments and ways related to how work done including milk purification, filling of containers & its packaging. The students felt enlightened and were fascinated to see the functions of the plant.

The visit was a great learning experience for the students, who were able to gain practical insights into the workings of a large-scale dairy plant. It helped them understand the importance of quality &innovation in the dairy industry. The students were grateful for the opportunity and thanked TakshShila SCHOOL for organising such an informative and enriching visit.
