Special Activities Held At Taksh Shila
Schools are not just about textbooks and exams; they are also places where students learn new skills, discover their interests, and make lasting friendships. Engaging in fun and educational activities helps students enjoy their school days more and makes learning exciting. This July, Taksh Shila Organised a balance proportion of activities for students in school that are both fun and educational.
Story telling competition
Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of physical world. While competitions are the best way to boost the confidence in children. Keeping this in mind, a story-telling competition was conducted for Grade 3rd narrated stories. Students were dressed up as characters and presented their story with the use facial expressions and voice modulation. To captivate the audience's attention, the little narrators of Taksh Shila used props to make a narrative setup. Each and every story was recited with a moral. The oratory and presentation skills of tiny tots were outstanding.
Quiz competition
“All the world is a laboratory to the inquiring minds!”
Taksh Shila nurtures the inquisitive mind. To hone this talent of the students of the Senior Wing participated in Quiz Competition. All the teams participated with great enthusiasm. They skilfully answered the questions asked. Quiz was very informative and knowledge enriching for the participants as well as for the audience. The students displayed ecstatic spirit and enjoyed the activity. By participating in a quiz competition, students can learn to trust their own abilities and develop the confidence to tackle challenges.
Essay competition
The essay writing competition for the Middle wing of Taksh Shila was also organised on various theme such as –Friendship, Artificial intelligence &Teamwork. The competition was open to all our schools, primary, secondary, and this year we had more submissions than ever before, so for a student even to get shortlisted, let alone win, is a truly world class achievement. The parameters for judging were students’ fluency, presentation and creativity. The purpose of the competition was to encourage the students to enhance their thinking and writing skills. The essays were well written by the students.
